Today I wanted to share some of the garden pictures from Sonnenburg. There are around nine different gardens to visit!
The Rock Garden was one of my favorites. There you will find a very old hydrangea winding around stairs that lead to the top of the summer house. There is also a statue of the Greek god Pan whose role in mythology is a shepherd, the guardian between civilization and the wild – an appropriate icon to represent this particular garden. There is a winding path that takes you to a series of pools that are fed by geysers and springs.
