From time to time we are asked by our bakery clients to assemble gift baskets. Today I am sharing a basket we created for the Governor of North Carolina, who was visiting a public school in Rocky Mount, NC.
Our client works in the office at the elementary school and wanted to present the governor with one of our baskets from The Gingham Patch. So she called us, and we sprang into action!
We decorated the basket using the school colors. Then we filled the basket with goodies, including Lady Fingers, Cheese Straws, Blueberry Preserves, Biscotti, Chocolate Chip cookies, Lemon Cookies, and a loaf of our famous Sourdough Bread.
As you can see I think the Governor was extremely surprised and pleased!
