What a few weeks I have had! As many of you know I have had back issues that flare up from time to time. Well, it decided to show its ugly face again at not such a wonderful time! Brittney’s high school graduation party was planned for this week. The invitations had been sent so there was no changing the date. I was running at about 30%.
With the help of my wonderful, terrific, awesome husband, we actually pulled it off. I was more like the foreman giving instructions and my husband was trying to carry them out best as he could. This is pretty hard for an event planner, I have to say – not to have my hands on everything. I was trying to have plenty of patience and not show any aggravation. Woohoo! We succeeded and I am glad to say we are still married. lol
It wasn’t the party I had originally planned on for weeks but it still turned out nice. We were able to pull off most of the elements I had designed in some way, shape, and manner. Overall it turned out great and the kids had a blast. Brittney was very surprised and loved every part of it.
