Today we are off to explore and see more fall foliage. First we visited Lake Placid.
I was interested to actually see the lake as my only knowledge of it was from the Syfy original movie Lake Placid 1 and 2. Actually the movie was not even filmed at Lake Placid. Go figure. I had a slight run in with one of the alligators left behind from the movie. 🙂
Lake Placid was also the home of the 1980 winter Olympics. We ended up at the North Pole to visit Santa Claus.
