Our oldest daughter got engaged in October! Wanting to celebrate the occasion we gave them an Engagement Party. The theme had to be a fiesta as Mexican food is her absolute favorite. I thought I would share a few of the pictures with you.
Oh how I love to put together children’s parties! They are absolutely the funnest (if only that was a word) party to put together. My little nephew would be turning three, and well of course, who better to give him a “Memory-Maker Party” than his Aunt Karla? So the wheels in my head began to turn. I needed a theme that would fit his little personality. Then I remembered a book from my own girls’ childhood many years ago called We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. Who doesn’t love the royal treatment once in a while? That’s exactly what I gave my client’s daughter for her third birthday. We went all out to give this precious little princess a birthday she will never forget!
What a few weeks I have had! As many of you know I have had back issues that flare up from time to time. Well, it decided to show its ugly face again at not such a wonderful time! Brittney’s high school graduation party was planned for this week. The invitations had been sent so there was no changing the date. I was running at about 30%.
We have always made gingerbread houses every Christmas since the girls have been little. This Christmas I decided to throw Brittney a gingerbread-making party for her birthday.
