My team and I arrived and began to set up. Everything came together very well and excitement started to fill the air! For the center table (which was the focal point) I made a tall flower topiary topped with tons of flowers, ivy, and ribbons. To make the table feel as if it filled the room, I tied ribbons from the top of the topiary and draped them to the chairs to give the look of a Maypole. The ribbon was then tied into bows and attached to each chair.
Carolina charm magazine contacted me at The Gingham Patch to present a Young Ladies Etiquette Tea Party for their annual Charm Night Out. The event is always a huge success and I love the fact that it concentrates on promoting local women and their businesses. We were extremely pleased to take part in such an excellent event.
My trademark attorney contacted me a few weeks ago wanting to give his little girl a Princess Birthday tea party. Olive Ann will be tuning six and like many little girls her age Olive Ann loves princess “anything”. I was ecstatic and began to plan her royal birthday party that would make her princess for the day.
The word has been spreading pretty quickly about The Gingham Patch Tea Parties, especially the Princess theme. It seems I can’t book these parties fast enough – which is a good problem to have believe me. Today I wanted to share an Etiquette Princess Tea we did with a Girl Scout Troop.
One of my bakery clients takes part in a yearly charity. The charity brings Chernobyl children to the United States for medical and dental treatment. The children are allowed to stay for two months with sponsoring families. My client has had the pleasure of hosting the same little Russian girl Katsiaryna for four years, and I had the pleasure of giving her a Princess Tea Party!
