One of our first outings since moving to New York was to Genesee Country Village and Museum. It is located in Mumford, New York and is based on a 19th century history restoration of a real working village that encompasses 600 acres.
Also located in Highland Park is Lamberton Conservatory which displays exotic flowers and plants from around the world in tropical settings. There were so many lovely plants to look at!
Tulips The tulips in New York are among some of the prettiest I have ever seen. I guess the climate here is perfect for them!
We are off to visit the Lilac Festival which is held in Monroe County’s famous Highland Park in Rochester. It is a huge event to welcome spring and forget winter.
