When your child starts college it is really tough to get used to the separation. We put so much time, love, and energy into our children for 18 years and then the day comes.
I remember when we took our oldest daughter, Beth, to college and helped her move in. Well, needless to say, I spent the trip home and the next few days crying. I felt like I had lost a part of me. All you moms out there I am sure you can relate if you have experienced this part of parenthood! It does get easier looking back – but the first week is rather tough.
So today is the big day we have been waiting for. Beth is graduating from college. Yep, she survived and we did too! We are so proud of her! I thought I would share a few pictures we snapped today.
