Thanksgiving Tablescape

November 28, 2013

This year for Thanksgiving I wanted a more natural looking table with out a lot of fuss. Just like the Pilgrims and Indians I gathered pumpkins, pinecones, gourds, nuts, few candles and deer antler candle holders. My dad made mine but I am sure the Pilgrims and Indians had a pair too. :o)

Keeping with the natural theme I didn’t feel a table cloth was needed. Instead I used a piece of burlap for a runner. Next I brought in all the items I had collected and layered them along the center of the table. For plates I stuck to simple white with brown chargers.

This is probably one of the simplest tablescapes I have ever put together for a Thanksgiving table but in a way it is one of my favorites. Now pull up a chair and join us. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We sure have a lot to be thankful for!

Our families are the special occasion. :o)
