Today was the day to set up the Picnic theme tablescape up for my Garden Club. Since I had spent time at home working through the mock up this made it so much easier for me to quickly set everything up.
My turn is up again for our refreshment committee at my Garden Club. May is a very busy time for our club. We fill planters with flowers all throughout the village for the community to enjoy.
When your child starts college it is really tough to get used to the separation. We put so much time, love, and energy into our children for 18 years and then the day comes.
Our oldest daughter Beth graduated from college last week. Since we were traveling to her graduation we didn’t have a lot of time to have a large celebration before the graduation. I began working on a small family tablescape for her graduation dinner. I guess the best way to describe her style is “country cottage with a modern twist.” The theme I was going with was “Holding the Keys to Success.”
Today I have some exciting news! This past Sunday we rescued the newest member of our family. We adopted the most wonderful, gentle, cuddliest cocker spaniel anyone could ever want. His name is Cody and he wanted to share his story with you. I am sure you too will fall in love with this cutie just as we did.
