This morning we woke up to a heavy dusting of snow. It was quite a shock as we are not used to this.
Today we are off to explore and see more fall foliage. First we visited Lake Placid.
August made a year since we moved to upstate New York. During our time here we have heard from many New Yorkers about how beautiful the Adirondacks are and how we should visit them during the fall. So today we are taking them up on it.
On our trip back from Topsail Beach we stopped at Antietam National Battlefield. My husband is a history buff and has always wanted to see it so we decided we would stop for the day. Needless to say the girls were not ecstatic. Lol A little history has never hurt anyone. :o)
