Tulips The tulips in New York are among some of the prettiest I have ever seen. I guess the climate here is perfect for them!
We are off to visit the Lilac Festival which is held in Monroe County’s famous Highland Park in Rochester. It is a huge event to welcome spring and forget winter.
Our first winter here in upstate New York has proven to be quite snowy and cold. We all had to buy New York coats as our North Carolina coats… well… they just didn’t cut it. It started snowing on October 31st and has yet to let up. With December being Brittney’s birthday I wanted to have a party so she could invite all her new friends she has met since we moved here in August. With all the snow and extremely low temperatures a LUAU came to mind! 🙂
The last part of the Etiquette Party was the craft. I had the girls make a pillow to carry home with them. I always try to incorporate a craft that will last and that the children can have for years to come as a keepsake.
